BTS from the Set of “One More Stop” for the 2025 i48
Back in May, Dreamweaver Collective participated in the i48 Film Competition & Festival - an awesome local film event where teams compete to create a short film in only forty-eight hours time! Our Dreamweaver team was given a prop (a handful of pipe cleaners), a character (Nicky Harms, Archivist), a line of dialogue (“With all due respect, I beg to differ”), and a genre (road movie), and we had just two days to make a three-to-six minute film from it!
Pulling the “road movie” genre made this film an insane challenge for our team. We had to film across ten different locations, including in moving vehicles, across two days with almost 100-degree heat! Nonetheless, we pulled it off and got the film sent in to the festival with less than half an hour to spare.
The completed short film - “One More Stop” - advanced to the finalist round of the festival and won the award for “Best Use of Character”! You can watch it on YouTube here!
