Graphic Design Lab with Dreamweaver

This last Saturday, JUMP hosted veteran production designer Colie Buck to lead our Dreamweaver Collective volunteers through the graphic design process! Our upcoming short film, “Costumes”, stars two superheroes and a supervillain, each of whom need bold, dramatic emblems on their costumes. Colie led us through imagining and sketching out possible designs for these emblems. Here’s some of the work that our volunteers did!

Here are some designs for the emblem of our superhero character “The Mysterious E” - a magician-themed superhero.

And here are some designs for the punching-fist emblem of our superhero “Gut Punch”, and our scorpion emblem for our supervillain “The Stinger”.

Everyone learned a lot from Colie’s knowledge and experience. You’ll be able to see these completed emblems in “Costumes” - debuting this January at the Idaho Film Fair!
