“NO SIGNAL” Pre-Production Begins!
PLAY Studio was packed this last Saturday as we kicked off pre-production for Dreamweaver’s biggest project yet - “No Signal”. Director Kody Newton led us through a readthrough of the script and a breakdown of the complicated production ahead of us.
“No Signal” includes huge crowds of extras, numerous unique locations, wild props and costumes, rooms dressed up in wacky ways, and a complicated “oner” shot as our hero navigates his way through an insane battle of LARPers, Nerf gunners, and prestige television enthusiasts.
We’re shooting on March 20th-23rd, but the biggest days are the 21st and 22nd - that’s when we need our huge crowd of extras. Sign up here if you’d like to be one of these extras! It’ll be a wild two days, and we’ll have catered meals provided for everyone. If you want to be involved in any other way, attend our upcoming Production Labs, every Saturday at 1 PM from now through the production.
We couldn’t pull off this beast of a shoot without our director, Kody Newton - director of the upcoming film 2:59, which premieres at the Egyptian Theatre in Downtown Boise on March 14th!
