Living in the gem state has its advantages. When it’s not one thousand degrees or frozen solid outside, it is possible to wander out into the desert and find treasure from millennia past. We’ve found a few nice veins of agate in between the sage brush, and with a patience hand, and a rock saw, have made ‘slabs’ of these gems.

Usually these slabs end up sitting in boxes, but not for us! We want to give them away as trophies and awards. So we designed a simple 3D printed rock slab holder with a laser cut customizable plaque.
