Packed Saturday with Dreamweaver
Dreamweaver Collective was doing cool stuff for twelve hours straight last Saturday! At our Screenwriting Lab in the morning, we worked hard on developing scripts written by our community volunteers into slick, polished products ready for production. At our Production Lab in the afternoon, we broke down the Screenwriting Lab’s most recently finished scripts and assessed the challenges and necessities of producing them as high quality short films. And then when all the hard work was done, we spent the evening enjoying pizza and beverages, then went on our monthly Dreamweaver Field Trip to the Idaho Film Society for a screening of the 1982 horror masterpiece The Thing.
Saturdays with Dreamweaver are going to be busy for the foreseeable future. Our Screenwriting Labs take place every week at 10 AM unless otherwise notified. Our Production Labs will also reoccur weekly leading up to the production of “No Signal” and then shift to bi-weekly after that. And our Dreamweaver Field Trips will occur every month. February’s Field Trip will be on the 21st - we’ll be headed to The Flicks for a showing of the 2026 Oscar-Nominated Short Films!
