Survivorship Wellness

EXPEDITION INSPIRATION’S 2024 CLIMB FOR THE CURE: JUMP’s Survivorship Wellness Series PILOT Program was designed to provide a safe space where Breast Cancer survivors can gather, commune, and share stories (and their hearts) while having fun trying new things.

A special series of weekly movement and mindfulness offerings (led by local facilitators) were held in the Move studio, once a week for 10 weeks. All members of Expedition Inspiration's 2024 Climb for the Cure are invited and encouraged to join this program… not only to train and strengthen their body and mind, but more importantly to enjoy a sense of camaraderie, as they walked together on their journey towards Hyndman Peak… and a cure for breast cancer!

Each climber had their own unique goals, but the overall goal of this expedition was to spread awareness, educate, inspire and raise funds for Breast Cancer research. The intention behind it all was to END BREAST CANCER… by funding research, empowering collaboration, and cultivating inspiration.

The classes within this wellness series included a Meet and Greet, Dancing Mindfulness, Pound, Sound Healing, Yoga for Cancer, QiGong, Cacao, Kirtan, Myofascial Release, stretching, Meditation, and Offsite Gatherings, Presentations and Hikes.

Learn more about their climb and celebration as they returned back to JUMP where it all began… at JUMP, where they cohosted a heart-felt Hope for a Cure event in October of 2024 to share their stories and the success of this pilot program.
