Cinematography Lab with Kody Newton
Last Saturday, local filmmaker Kody Newton took our Dreamweaver volunteers through a hands-on workshop on lighting for the camera. Kody has tons of professional experience in creative and commercial fields, and it was amazing to have him share his knowledge with us! Our volunteers got to participate in setting up high-quality lights and camera and lighting a scene for different moods and genres.
Kody is directing our upcoming short film production, “No Signal”, and our Dreamweaver volunteers will be our cast and crew! We’ve got just about a month less before filming begins, and we’re going to be spending that time doing more learning, planning, and practicing in order to make sure this goes off without a hitch.
